Child, Adolescent & Adult Therapist (BACP 00977896)

About Me

I was born in London, UK and spent some of my childhood in the city formerly known as Bombay. I spent the 90s in Soweto, South Africa working with children and young people in the Township.

My first career was in film production. I requalified when my own children were young as I found it hard to navigate the demands of that job with raising a family.
I have spent 15 years as a Therapist and Supervisor for one of the UK’s leading Mental Health Charities. I had the privilege of working with hundreds of children and young adults and their families. My approach is playful, authentic, collaborative, creative and resilient.

I am bound by the BACP principles:
Trustworthy: Honouring the trust placed in the practitioner.
Autonomy: Respect for the clients right to be self-governing.
Beneficence: Commitment to promoting the clients wellbeing.
Non-maleficence: Commitment to avoiding harm to the client.

I consider myself culturally competent to work with all people, and able to refer through a trusted network of colleagues.
